Subway multi-site rollout programme
Food-to-go continues to be one of the strongest growth areas across convenience and retail environments. For brands like Subway, success depends on more than menu offer alone. Layout, flow and consistency are critical to delivering fast, intuitive service that can be replicated reliably across multiple locations.
As part of a wider multi-site rollout programme planned throughout 2026, The Jordon Group has completed the full interior fit out of a new Subway restaurant at Crownpoint Shopping Park in Leeds. The project forms part of a repeatable design and delivery approach intended to support Subway’s ongoing expansion across high footfall locations.
The focus of the fit out was on creating a clear and efficient customer journey from entry to ordering, supported by well planned service zones and a comfortable dining environment. The layout was designed to balance speed of service with dwell, while maintaining consistency with brand standards to support future rollout delivery
A clear journey from order to collection
The layout has been carefully planned to remove friction at key touchpoints. Self order kiosks are positioned to be immediately visible on entry, reducing queue pressure and allowing customers to order quickly and confidently.
From there, the counter and preparation areas support a smooth transition from order to collection, with clear pick up points and strong visual cues overhead. Digital menu boards reinforce clarity and consistency, helping customers move through the space without hesitation.
This clarity is essential in food-to-go environments where speed and throughput directly impact performance.
Seating designed for fast turnover and comfort
The dining area combines a mix of seating types, from high tables to more relaxed bench seating, allowing the space to flex throughout the day. The arrangement supports quick visits during peak periods while still offering a welcoming environment for customers who choose to sit in.
Durable finishes, clean lines and brand led colours reflect the Subway identity while remaining practical for daily operation. Materials have been selected to be easy to clean and maintain, supporting long term performance in a live trading environment.
Brand consistency delivered through practical detail
From lighting and signage to wall finishes and feature branding, the store delivers a consistent Subway look and feel while remaining grounded in operational reality. The design supports staff movement behind the counter, keeps preparation areas efficient, and ensures the space works just as well during busy periods as it does during quieter trading.
As with all Jordon projects, delivery focused on attention to detail, clear communication and effective site coordination from start to handover. The result is a food-to-go space that is ready to trade with confidence from day one.
Food-to-go remains a smart starting point for operators planning upgrades in 2026. When designed around flow, clarity and operational performance, these spaces support growth where it matters most.
