Symbol group Simply Fresh has recently joined forces with catering contractor Chartwells and has moved into the University of Surrey’s 5,000 square foot on-campus store. We were ecstatic when Simply Fresh chose us as their retail shopfitting contractor for this exciting new store re-brand. Roddy Brooks was the main Retail Design Consultant who oversaw the project alongside Mark Howatson and his dedicated team of shopfitters.
This extensive, modern refit means there will be larger range of fresh, healthier options available to the University Students with the inclusion of self-serve tills that will help reduce waiting times. Also included will be the addition of fresh salad bars and cold pressed juices, not to mention hot options like; stone-baked pizzas and various hot meals.
Davinder Jheeta, Creative Director at Simply Fresh, commented…
“We’re delighted to have been chosen by the University of Surrey to utilise its 5,000 square foot on-campus store. Students are becoming increasingly discerning in the brands they’ll buy and the foods they’ll eat and our ethos of best of British products and healthier eating, all at an affordable price, was well received by the university.”
The Jordon Group had a four week time scale to complete the project whilst maintaining the highest quality finish that their customers know as standard. Now that the project is finished, the University of Surrey, Simply Fresh and the students of the University are absolutely delighted with the end result of their new campus store.
Here at Jordon’s we would like to wish Mr Jheeta and the team the best of luck with this wonderful new store and look forward to working with them in the near future.
