Overview
The Jordon Group, part of Bellrock Group, delivered the second phase of refurbishment at the landmark Digital World Centre in Media City, Salford Quays – a key destination within Greater Manchester’s creative and digital hub.
Building on the success of the first phase, this stage focused on transforming the second floor, lift lobby, and washroom facilities to Cat A standard. The aim was to create a modern, flexible, and efficient workplace that reflects the innovation and energy of the wider Media City district.
As a result, the space is now ready for new occupiers and designed to meet the evolving needs of modern businesses.
Our Scope
To achieve this, our fit-out and engineering teams worked closely together from design through to completion. They designed, supplied, and installed a new air conditioning and ventilation system that improves energy efficiency and enhances comfort throughout the workspace.
Every component was carefully positioned to complement the open-plan layout. In addition, exposed ductwork and pipework were sprayed black to match the building’s industrial-modern aesthetic. This detail created a bold yet refined finish that combines technical precision with contemporary design.
Internally, the refurbishment introduced new ceilings, lighting, flooring, and decorative finishes, all completed with exceptional craftsmanship. Consequently, the space feels brighter, more professional, and more inviting for future tenants.
Externally, we replaced the existing Digital World Centre signage with a modern illuminated design. A specialist rope-access team safely installed it, while the red brick façade was repainted to deliver a clean and contemporary appearance that aligns with the refreshed interior.
The results
