Overview
We delivered a full convenience store fit out, including a complete refit and retail refurbishment, for a Nisa store at Parkdean Resorts in Clacton-on-Sea.
The project involved relocating the existing store to a new area within the holiday park. As a result, we transformed the space into a modern, high-performing retail environment.

The Challenge
The store required relocation within the site. This meant a full strip out and rebuild in a new location.
At the same time, the live holiday park environment created additional pressure. The store needed to support high volumes of customers, especially during peak periods.
Because the store closed during the works, the programme had to stay tight. The new space needed to open fully operational and ready to trade.
Our Scope
We delivered a full convenience store fit out, refit and refurbishment, including:
- Internal strip out and full refit
- Installation of new flooring, ceiling and lighting
- Shelving and merchandising layout
- Refrigeration supply and installation
- Electrical works across the store
- Installation of a new food-to-go area
- New shopfront with automatic entrance
Our in-house teams delivered every stage. As a result, we maintained control, consistency and quality throughout.
The Solution
We designed the store to maximise flow, visibility and accessibility.
First, we structured the layout to support fast movement through the space. This reduces friction during busy trading periods.
Next, we positioned refrigeration to prioritise high-demand lines. This ensures availability where it matters most.
In addition, we introduced a dedicated food-to-go area. This supports faster service and increases basket spend in a high-footfall environment.
Externally, the new shopfront improves visibility across the site. It also creates a clear and accessible entrance for customers.
Results
The completed store delivers a modern retail environment built for performance.
The new layout improves customer flow and usability. At the same time, increased refrigeration capacity protects sales during peak periods.
The food-to-go offer drives additional spend. As a result, the store supports stronger day-to-day trading.
