Being the only manufacturer of Bury Black Pudding actually based in Bury, demand for this quality product is very high. The same black puddings served on Bury Black Pudding’s market stall now retail in Tesco, Waitrose, Sainsbury’s, Asda, Co-op, Spar, Morrison’s, Iceland, Selfridges, and Booker.
Due to such high demand, Bury Black Pudding carried out extensive factory expansions in order to extend their production facility. The Jordon Group played a large part in this development, enabling production capacity to increase tenfold.
The Jordon Group constructed and installed the new temperature control facility which included two preparation areas, one rolling rack storage room, one large deep freeze cold room, one storage cold room, a heat recovery system and food safe paneling in the offices.
Bury Black Pudding can now boast a reduction in its carbon footprint of 58 tonnes of carbon a year; with providing further savings on the climate change levy, they are absolutely thrilled with such positive results and extensive savings.
