Well, where do we begin…?
May – you’ve been a month of mixed emotions.
We sadly said goodbye to our dear colleague and friend, Steve Whitehead, whose kindness, integrity, and humour left a lasting impact on all of us. Steve, you are missed more than words can say.
But as Steve would’ve wanted, we kept moving forward – and May has been nothing short of relentlessly busy.
Here are just a few of the standout moments:
- Forecourt handovers for EG On The Move, bringing more new-to-industry sites to life.
- Celebrated VE Day’s 80th anniversary, honouring our founder Edward Jordon, who proudly served in the war.
- Iceland Foods trial launches across several locations, delivering high-impact energy-saving refrigeration.
- Celebrating the future leaders of our communities – with SATS complete, we treated local schoolchildren to ice cream!
- We proudly launched our new website, giving a fresh face to the business.
- We hit the road for Retail’s Best 2025 and the Bestway Retail Show, networking with industry friends old and new.
As May draws to a close, we take a moment to reflect on the highs and the lows – and everything in between.
